Diana Finch started her career in bookkeeping and designing accounting systems. When her children were small, she volunteered in community development work, and found it so fulfilling, she decided to work mainly in the non-profit sector from then on.
After 17 years in senior leadership roles in charities, Diana was feeling jaded - no matter how much effort the charities she worked for put in, she was constantly aware that upstream, the system was creating more damage.
Then one day, she saw the role of Managing Director for the Bristol Pound advertised, and her journey into alternative economics began.
Diana lives in Bristol. She has two adult daughters and enjoys dancing in her spare time.
